EnVISION it. BELIEVE it. ACCOMPLISH it.

You have to see where you want to go. Whether you are driving your car or setting a life goal, you must see where you want to go. You must have a vision of where you are going.

Running vision. Before every race, I envisioned the entire race. Every corner, every surge, every final stretch. I anticipated every move from everyone else. I envisioned the entire race in detail before every successful race I did.

Where do we want to go? Where do we see ourselves in 6 months, 12 months, 2 years? We need a vision of where it is we will be. Without out a vision, there is no way to know how to get there. Without looking ahead, we will stay where we are. Be specific. Picture what the final outcome is and picture yourself getting there. What will it take?

What are the steps needed to get there? Picture yourself doing all of the steps to get to your goal. This is essential to success. You got to set expectations for yourself so you will actually do them.

Don’t just let the next steps to success happen. Be proactive with vision so that you anticipate what is coming next so that you know what you have to do when it is time to complete the next step, and then you will be ready to start on the next step.

The second part of vision is belief. It is one thing to come up with a vision of where we want to go, but it is another thing to really believe that you will make it there. YOU MUST BELIEVE YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOAL.

Everyone has an imagination, not everyone has the drive and will to be successful. To be successful you must believe you will successful. If you start with the belief that you will never get to where you want to be, you wont ever get there.

What are our long term goals? Picture them. Picture what steps you have to do to get there. Believe you will get through all those steps. There are going to be setbacks and hardships. Things will not always go exactly as you envisioned, but you must continue to believe you will succeed. When your belief fades, so does your chances of success. In the hard times, belief will get you through. It starts with belief.
